Build the firm
founders deserve.
We're always looking for attorneys and operators who'd rather solve problems than bill hours. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care about founders as much as you do, let's talk.
See open rolesA different kind of practice.
We left big firms to build the one we wished we'd had. That means the same standards, and none of the things that made us leave. Here's what working here actually feels like.
Real ownership, early
No pyramid of partners between you and the work. You'll run matters day to day with a senior attorney on every engagement, talk directly to founders, and see your judgment shape outcomes from day one.
Tools, not timesheets
We've built proprietary automation that takes repetitive drafting and diligence off your plate, so your hours go to thinking, not formatting.
A life outside the firm
We're accessible to clients because we're efficient, not because we're chained to a desk. Transparent, up-front pricing aligns everyone around outcomes, not hours logged.
Where you could fit.
We're a mostly-remote firm, so location isn't a barrier. We're glad to hire the right person in any city, state, or country. Don't see the exact role? We're always glad to meet exceptional people early. Reach out and tell us what you'd want to build here.
Founders Law LLP is hiring a commercial transactions associate to work directly with Corey Gerson, who leads the firm's commercial practice. You would be handling the agreements our clients run their businesses on and helping to build a rapidly-scaling practice area.

- Practical experience with data privacy where it meets commercial work, including negotiating DPAs and drafting or reviewing privacy policies.
- Tech transactions experience at a law firm is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Comfort working directly with clients, the judgment to raise issues early, and an interest in areas of practice that are new to you.
