Corey Gerson

From high-growth startups to the Fortune 100.

Corey is a business and technology lawyer. He has extensive experience representing clients ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 100 companies, with a particular focus on the SaaS and AI space. After beginning his career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York City, Corey transitioned in-house to legal roles at Nearmap and Databricks before launching his own law firm and ultimately joining Founders Law.

Corey's practice centers on structuring, negotiating, and managing complex commercial contracts, data privacy issues, and other day-to-day in-house legal matters. He leads the firm's Outside General Counsel group, embedding with clients to provide long-term legal support and to extend in-house legal team capacity. In this role, Corey partners closely with founders, executives, and business teams such as sales, procurement, product, finance, and more.

Corey earned his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, where he was a member of the American University Business Law Review, and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with honors and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. When not working, he can be found outside hiking, camping, and skiing across Colorado.
